Stafford Labour

We are the Labour Party in Stafford

We are your local Labour Party, and we care deeply about Stafford, Eccleshall, and the villages. You might see us out litter picking, campaigning for local services (such better flood protection or a thriving high street), joining community events across the area, or knocking on doors to hear what matters most to you.

In 2024, Stafford elected Leigh Ingham as its Labour MP, the first Labour MP for the area since 2010. Leigh and the Labour government were elected on a mandate for change, and Leigh has got straight to work making Westminster deliver for Stafford. She doesn’t just turn up at election time. She is out on the doorstep, at her regular coffee mornings, and in our communities all year round.

Leigh knows what it means to work hard to get on. She was the first in her family to go to university, and her politics started close to home, leading residents in a campaign against unfair heating charges on their estate. She is focused on what local people have told her matters most: better high streets, NHS care close to home, good homes with the infrastructure to match, opportunity for young people, and flood protection for Stafford.

Our Labour councillors are your voice locally. We currently have 12 Labour councillors on Stafford Borough Council working hard for their communities.
